The adults-only online game Kabod Online is scheduled to start its first closed beta on July 15, second closed beta in September, pre-open beta in November, and open beta in winter. The game has been exported to Hong Kong, and its operation in other countries is also being negotiated. To dig out more info about Kabod Online, an MMORPG characterized by abundant adult elements, the South Korean game media have recently done an interview with Eom Jae Won, CEO of Kabod Online's developer - Kabod Entertainment.
"We wish to make a 'stimulating' game to adults' taste."
Interviewer: What kind of game is Kabod Online on earth?
Eom Jae Won: Based on the traditional MMORPG content, Kabod Online integrates many adult elements, including "violence", "eroticism" and "gambling".
Interviewer: Compared to other countries, South Korea seems to have a relatively negative understanding about the adult culture. What do you think in this respect?
Eom Jae Won: Let me give you a simple example! Some people are fond of films that contain extremely violent and erotic contents, while some are sick of these. Such is also the case with games. We always wish to generate real adult games for those fond of the adult culture, and Kabod Online is just a result of such thought.
Interviewer: As is the case with Vindictus (aka "Mabigino: Heroes"), Kabod Online also introduces the "Cloth Ripping System". Can you give us a brief introduction about this system?
Eom Jae Won: All clothes (inc. armors) in Kabod Online have certain durability, and will be damaged differently as their durability decreases by 30%, 60% and 100%. The "Cloth Ripping System" applies to not only the in-game characters but also the monsters.

Interviewer: Would you introduce the in-game "Criminal System" briefly?
Eom Jae Won: The "Criminal System" is one of the core systems in Kabod Online, which allows players to choose to commit crimes or not. In the game, players can not only kill others, but also loot the items of the killed characters and thus become criminals. Criminals cannot trade in common villages, and will be chased by the NPC "Criminal's Bane". But as there's always a way out, criminals can trade in the loots in the "Lawless Village". Those tired of crimes can also revert to common players by means of the "Penitence" feature in the game.
Of course, newbies will be protected particularly, and there're also non-PvP areas in the game. Moreover, common players can arrest the criminals by themselves, or employ "Criminal's Bane" as their bodyguard. With "Criminal's Bane" employed, players' items won't be looted even though they are killed.
Interviewer: It's formerly reported that Kabod Online allowed players to have "body contact" with NPCs. Is it true?
Eom Jae Won: The NPCs in Kabod Online won't stand still and offer quests simply like those in other MMORPGs. Instead, Kabod Online allows players to assault NPCs, date NPCs of the opposite sex, and make investment for the NPC merchants or rob them.
In Kabod Online, players can do quests to improve the intimacy with the NPC of the opposite sex. When the intimacy degree reaches a certain level, the related NPC will endow players with certain buff effects or have "body contact" with them. The extent of "body contact" depends on the game's particular operating area.

Kabod Online Global Test Review
A short Introduction
Kabod Online is a new +18 MMO, that shows, as you might guess, nude parts or let us say some x-rated stuff. Kabod Online comes with some simple and common game mechanics, like some Enchantments, PK -System, Backpacks, etc..But there are also some new parts, like the "Armor Destroy System" that shows damaged armor after a lot of fights, showing some scratches of monsters or shredded clothes.

And also the PK System is different to other games. They call it "Crime System" so you can steal other Player's Items and rob them or even kill them while traveling across the world. But you'll get punished for stealing and killing other people, so be warned. The Enchantment-system works with so called "Magic Pattern Cards" that you can find by killing certain mobs. Those cards have to be placed in Card slots, that are only available in certain weapons/armors you first have to find!
For now there are 3 classes in Kabod Online: Knight, Rogue and Mage. (The fourth class "Archer" is showed up on the website of the Game, but it's not available at this moment, let us hope they implement it later on in Game.) You can choose wether you pick male or female class, and that's it. No more options, no more customizations. Also there are not many options to set up while playing, just sound options, and simple graphic options, like resolution and gamme values.
The test starts :)
I just ignored those nude image pictures spammed all over the mmosites and gave this game a try. So first I opened their website and created a new account, no problems and got one, althought this game is in beta or better alpha status, all people can play it, it's global alpha testing time ;). The website makes a good impression and it's filled with the most needed and common stuff. It has a drop-down menu like the most newly created game websites, that shows the whole features of the site, by just hovering your mouse over one button/option on the page. A right download link and some screenshots were fastly found and I started to download the game, while looking a bit more over that website. If you take a deeper look at the site, it just has some needed game guides and game infos, but not more.. I think it's still in development. And you can read or see that the Developers don't use english as their motherlanguage.. some mistakes here and there, but mainly understandable and ok.. so let's start the Game! (already installed it at the background, hehe).
There are no further problems, started the Game and perfectly logged in. After that I created a female Character for testing purposes, you know ;), and choosed knight as my class. I really like Knights, and to fight with cool big swords or using shields.. whatever, moving on hehe. So firstly I set my resolution InGame to 1920x1080 because I have a big Monitor and want to have nice graphics. Overall the Game graphics are really ok, and most people will love them ;) The Characters are really cool and the textures are HQ, but at the other hand there're also textures and models that are crappy and blurred and full of edges. But that's just the environment, they tried to make it real-looking but haven't spent a lot of time on some other parts (when I can say that). For example a half-timbered house looks cool there, but and the window shutters look detailed, but the window texture is blurred and full of pixels... Alltogether the Game graphics are really good and ok, here and there some gaps, that could be filled with more detailed textures/models, but in total the game has nice graphics.
After the first Tutorial Quests, that are used to show you the basics of the game and visit all the important NPC in the game, like Weapon and Armor Dealers, Spellbook sellers, and so on, I started to run out of that village, ready to fight some big bad mobs! But sadly the Monster diversity is not that big, you can find about 5-6 different monsters, like wolves, Raccoons, Likons, etc. but they used custom names and sizes to create more mobs, that you can kill. So mainly you fight against "wolves", "powerful wolves", "fearful wolves", and many others.. so it gets fast boring to kill the same monsters all the time. The same system counts for the items. I just found some basic items that are wearable every 5 level, with some exceptions, like a lvl12 armor, I recently found. Magic Items are really rare and not that special, just cool looking weapons/armors with some effects, like fire or ice and some slightly increased values. Nothing special so far.
But sadly I finally found out, why this game is +18 rated. Some players standing here and there, nearly naked on a wooden stump and posing like some playboy-girls. Just idiotic. This effect comes with the Armor-Destroy System implemented to the Game. Mainly it's a really cool idea, but it's really abused here in Kabod Online. Every equipment part has a duribility value, like 100 or 150, that value drops point by point, when you get damaged or hit by monsters. At some specific amounts the armors gets destroyed and shows more and more of your naked body, showing shredded parts and such things. But mainly this system is only for nude purposes! My main armor dropped down to 0 duribility, while my other equipment parts, like gauntlets, shoes, shoulders, helmet, shield, weapon, etc. still were at 100% of the duribility. So the System is only used to show people naked characters.. unneeded, if you ask me, could be made better, and not with showing breasts. Just google "breast" if you want to see some, but you shouldn't have to play a game to see them that often. Really sad.
Testing Results
In summary Kabod Online shows some basic parts and some neat graphic effects here and there, especially for character details. But it sill needs a lot of work, more items, more monsters a lot more variety in everything. Some major changes and fixes, like removing that unneccessary nude stuff, but keep the armor-destroy-system, because it makes the game more realistic. It's enough if you see the bra, or shorts or whatever, but not naked bodyparts like breasts.. It also lacks in animation variety, you fastly get bored of the 4-hit-combo of the knight, it's still the same, no mather what weapon or level you have. Also the Criminal System needs some fixes, in my opinion, because it sucks if you walked like hours to get to the certain place to kill the questmonsters or get some items and some high level player comes across attacking and killing you, so you have to walk the whole way again. This should be an option, that you can set to on or off, or whatever.. cause this is just annoying.
All in all Kabod Online is surely worth a try and left us hoping for better system and changes, that should be made. This Game has some real potential, and should definitly use this, but it needs a lot of work to make it more competitive.
Sry for some mistakes and bad english, I'm not that experienced in writing articles, hope you still like it.
